This cup is the first piece that I actually kept. I had a few other pretty good pieces before but I didn't like them as much. Since I am new to throwing I thought this came out pretty good. There is no specific technique I use just make it work.
This is how it turned out after trimming it. This was also my first time trimming so I think it came out pretty good.
